Direct Voice Reporter Md Amzath: Nalgonda, August 19: A shocking murder case involving a school principal has reportedly been solved in Nalgonda, with police detaining three Class 10 students in connection with the killing of Roopa Reddy, according to preliminary information.

The investigation has reportedly revealed that the three students were studying at the school where Roopa Reddy was serving as principal. The students allegedly came under her watch after she noticed them consuming ganja. She is said to have photographed and recorded videos of the students and warned them seriously about their conduct.
According to the information emerging from the investigation, Roopa Reddy had allegedly warned the students that they could be issued Transfer Certificates (TCs) and removed from the school if they continued such activities.
Police suspect that the students subsequently hatched a plan to eliminate the principal and steal the money and mobile phone in her possession, while also attempting to remove the videos and photographs that could expose them.
The students allegedly conducted a recce of Roopa Reddy’s residence and waited for an opportunity when she was alone at home. Investigators reportedly suspect that the three entered the house and carried out the attack within a matter of minutes.
In the brutal assault, Roopa Reddy was allegedly attacked repeatedly with a knife and blade, sustaining 27 stab injuries. After the murder, the accused reportedly took cash and her iPhone before fleeing the scene.
The case took a major turn after police investigations reportedly led to the detention of the three Class 10 students. Investigators are questioning them to establish the exact sequence of events, motive, planning and their individual roles in the crime.
The alleged involvement of school students in such a brutal crime has sent shockwaves through the local community. The incident has also raised serious concerns about the growing influence of substance abuse among teenagers and the need for stronger supervision, counselling and early intervention in educational institutions.
